Now that December is well and truly upon us we suddenly start to panic and realise that we have to make plans for the biggest night of the year! 

Its always so hard to work out what to do, some friends want to do different things, the weather might be crap, everyones a bit broke after all the Christmas drinks and presents… and sometimes it all becomes a bit too much to process and you end up stuck on a beach somewhere with a four pack of cruisers watching the fireworks with a bunch of families and tipsy under agers. 

Not exactly something to remember right?

Well I've been keeping an eye out for some good stuff this year, especially as my first single New Years there is no way I'm not having a big one! 

I found some great parties in Melbourne that are a good mix of classy and relaxed, so you can get loose and have a good time with all of your mates, even if they don't all like clubbing.

Riverside H2O

South Wharf

This is a waterfront marquee party with drinks included for $135. They have  a VIP option and are expecting a huge crowd! I haven't been to this event personally but I spoke to the organiser and they are expecting a great night! You can chill out around the banks of South Wharf, watch the fireworks display from one of the best spots and enjoy not having to hand money over at the bar all night!

MOTEL

York st South Melbourne

This is the party that my money is on this year, Paul Laver always hosts the best parties in Melbourne and for only $50 you get to enjoy some of Melbourne's best DJs and surround yourself with the ones who really know how to party! 3 of the top events crews in Melbourne have come together for this one, it's the perfect venue with upstairs and downstairs, a huge deck area and 3 bars overall. Its a great relaxed vibe as well, so perfect for those warm summer nights! This will be the night to remember for everyone!
